BEAULIEU VINEYARD 'Tapestry Reserve' 2008

The 2008 'Tapestry Reserve' Red Wine is a gorgeous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot from Beaulieu Vineyard. Aromatics of cinnamon, cloves, cigar box, black currant syrup and black olive create an intoxicating bouquet. Showing wonderful depth and mid-palate weight at this juncture, this wine begins to sing, showcasing crème de cassis, nutmeg, blackberry pie and sagebrush accents. The minerality is apparent, and the plush texture is simply delightful. While delicious today, I can also see this drinking beautifully for another decade or potentially more. (Best 2017-2029) - June, 2017 (OB)
