From an old block of Tamber Bey’s Deux Chevaux Vineyard in Yountville, this wine is 100% Merlot but a pleasant vegetal, eucalyptus edge would cause one to check the label twice looking for some Cabernet Franc in the blend. Purple fruit driven with blueberry, plum, blackberry, and black raspberry. Friendly, yet sophisticated tannin and a soft woody vanilla flavor.
