Aged sur lie for 18 months in 20% new French oak. 100% estate-grown fruit and boasting a light lemon-yellow core with a watery rim in the glass, the 2021 Estate Chardonnay from Bryn Mawr delights. Bountiful notes of lemon citrus, candied white peach, toasted hazelnuts, and crushed volcanic stone are all present and wonderfully integrated. A lengthy lemon and pear finish dances on the tongue for minutes. Only 125 cases were crafted.
