The 2021 Estate Chardonnay from Brittan gifts a medium lemony-gold core with a silvery rim and rests for 10 months in 28% new French oak barrels. A full-bodied wine that boasts notes of freshly sliced yellow apples, honey-coated pear, creme brulée, volcanic rocks, toasted hazelnuts, and sweet cinnamon sticks. A touch of oak hits the palate on the finish alongside those lovely tree-fruit flavors that balance perfectly with the lengthy finish. Approximately 205 cases were produced.
