Inky in the glass, displaying deep ruby with a neon rim, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Walla Walla Valley is aged for 20 months in 60% new French oak barrels. A wine that is still incredibly young that will need some time to develop into its true potential, you can feel the tension on the palate of what it is going to become. Ripe blackberry, cassis, cedary herbs, dark chocolate, and tilled earth present nicely on the nose. Rich and full on the palate, the flavors of black cherry, tobacco leaf, sassafras, and mountain sage deliver a wonderfully decadent Cabernet that will age for decades. Chris Peterson knocks it out of the park again. Only 3900 bottles produced. Highly recommended.
