BALBOA Syrah, Walla Walla Valley ‘Reserve’ 2018

Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Made from a selection of the favorite barrels with fruit coming from the Rocks District. A brooding dark purple core moves to a neon pink rim in the glass. The nose pops with earthy and meaty characteristics alongside ripe black cherry, mushroom powder, black olives, and bacon fat tones. In a blind, it’s nothing but Rocks Syrah which I absolutely love. Just 75 cases made.
