The 2020 John Lewis Syrah was fermented with 100% whole cluster and aged for 21 months in neutral French oak. Ripe black cherries, blue plum skin, dried blueberries, dried violet flowers, thyme, crushed olives, white grapefruit peel, and hints of smoked rib aromas spill from the glass. The palate is a bit leaner than the nose, with grippy tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a blue-fruit and earth-driven finish. 216 cases were made.
