NO GIRLS Grenache, La Paciencia Vineyard 2010

No Girls Wines was originally founded as a collaboration between Cayuse Vineyards' owner and vigneron Christophe Baron and general manager Trevor Dorland. This 100% Grenache comes from La Paciencia (patience) vineyard, where the vines are tightly spaced and planted on an angle to allow the Grenache to develop its own unique personality. 2010 was a cool vintage and the wine opens up with prototypical Walla Walla rocks aromas of wet stone, mushroom, lavender and orange peel. There are flavors of red raspberry garrigue, Bing cherry, cran-orange and provencale herbs. This mineral driven wine has exquisite texture and a finish that lingers. A fantastic wine this is showing excellent right now, but also shows wonderful potential to age. (Best 2015-2028) - November, 2015 (OB)
