The 2013 'Sharilee' Petit Verdot by Spring Valley is a great effort from an excellent vintage. The wine starts with herbaceous aromatics of dill, fennel, red cherry and red raspberry with cola accents. There are flavors of red cherry, red raspberry, dill and fennel. Overall this is an excellent wine that brings you continually back to the glass making it accessible right now, but this also shows some really nice aging potential.
