The 2014 'The Third Man' by Gramercy impresses once again. This gorgeous Grenache has deep aromatics of rose petals, red cherry candy, dried sage and hints of blood orange. There are ripe flavors of strawberry shortcake, Earl Grey tea, red cherry preserves and orange rind which all expand beautifully across the palate. The texture and viscosity is lovely. I can see this cellaring beautifully for a decade or more. However, if approaching early on be sure to allow this some air contact for it to fully open up. (Best 2017-2027) - May, 2017 (OB)
