Delivering some serious value, this dark rich wine is a compelling blend of 79% Syrah and 21% Grenache, from Columbia Valley. This is focused around intense minerality, with a ton of wet stones and hints of tar on the nose. The palate is layered with concentrated flavors of blueberry and blackberry which are highlighted by the mineral-laced core. It finishes with a bold, yet balanced with a lovely mix of acid and tannin. This juicy Syrah will be best enjoyed in the short term. (Best 2017-2022) - August, 2017 (OB)
