The 2015 'Swordfight' Red is is a blend of Mourvèdre and Syrah from Walla Walla vineyards. This has lovely nuances of black cherries on the nose, with spices and black tea adding complexity. The mouthfeel is plush, as the wine shows off a flavor profile focused around black cherries, black olives and cigar ash that connect with good minerality through the finish. A fantastic showing which should continue to evolve over the next decade.
