Fermented with 30% whole cluster and aged for 16 months in 20% new French oak barrels, this Pommard clone dominant Pinot Noir is a treat. Winemaker Rachel Rose crafted a wine that gives plentiful notes of wild blueberry, black cherry, Earl Gray tea, pencil shavings, and toasted baking spice. Acidity is in check and perfectly balanced with the lovely fruit and earth tones of the wine. Tannins check in on the medium side but are round and silky on the palate. Only 365 cases were produced.
