The 2021 Elton Vineyard Pinot Noir from Lavinea spent 18 months in 25% new French oak barrels. Presenting a shining medium ruby core with a lighter purple rim, it delivers aromas of boysenberries, black cherries, sweet spice, pencil shavings, and dried lavender flowers. Medium levels of tannins, lemony acidity, and a fresh, lingering finish complete the wine. A little over 300 cases were made.
