The 2015 'Grand Cheval' is a simply gorgeous blend of Estate Pinot Noir and Syrah, sourced from the esteemed Seven Hills Vineyard. This instantly begins to impress, as the aromatics show predominantly a dark fruit profile, with a touch of milk chocolate, savory notes, hints of white truffle and smoke, which continue to bring you back to the glass for more. Silky smooth on the palate, the wine continues to display dark fruit characteristics that mirrors the nose. There is a nice saline character, as this finishes strong with lovely minerality. Outstanding now, and should continue to drink well for some time.
