SUNU Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2018

SUNU’s entry-level Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley AVA is aged 16 months in 30% new French oak. The 40% whole cluster fermentation gives the wine some needed structure and depth. The nose shows the essence of red cherry, pomegranate, sweet cinnamon and freshly tilled earth. The palate is much like the nose with beautiful fresh red fruits, tangerine peel, black cherry and nutmeg with a solid and savory finish. A gorgeous wine for the price point. 620 cases produced.
