Aged in 45% new French oak, this is an absolutely stunning bottle of Chardonnay from Domaine Divio and is a perfect example of why I think the Chardonnays from this vintage will be some of the best ever made. Yellow apple, Bartlett pear, green melon, ground cinnamon, vanilla bean, and dried herbs merge with racy acidity, a medium body, and a wonderful deep balance and structure. The finish is superbly concentrated and goes on for minutes.
