<div class="uk-panel uk-panel-box uk-panel-box-secondary">The 2018 Basalt Block is a mix of the 777, 667, and Pommard clones and is aged for 15 months in French oak, with 23% new wood. Starting off with a rich and spicy nose of toasted white peppercorn, black cherry fruit, boysenberry, pencil shavings, cigar box, and cedary herbs, it’s a mouthwatering, full-bodied, and fruit-forward effort that will be better in 2023, but then lovely over the next 8 years. Just 140 cases made. </div>
