The 2021 Bledsoe McDaniels Willamette Valley Pinot Noir sports a light ruby core with a light pink rim. A fragrant nose of bright wild strawberry, red currants, a smooch of rhubarb, lemony herbs, and hints of tangerine oil fills the glass. Starting off, the palate is fruitier and fresher than the nose. But given time, the nose comes around with fresh red fruit and spicy aromas. Smooth tannins, medium acidity, and a medium body mouthfeel complete the wine. 1175 cases were made.
