STOLLER Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2013

The Stoller estate vineyard spans 373 acres, and is the largest vineyard in the Dundee Hills, with approximately 190 acres dedicated to growing vines at elevations ranging from 220 to 640 feet. The Pinot was aged in 30% new oak and 70% neutral oak prior to bottling in August 2014. This wine begins with aromas of mushroom, forest floor, barberry and red cherry. This leads to flavors of cherry cola, pomegranate, mushroom and a lithe minerality. This has nice weight and texture to this delicious and open style Pinot. (Best 2015-2022) - December, 2015 (OB)
