THE EYRIE VINEYARDS Pinot Noir 'Estate Grown' 2012

The wine is aromatically restrained at first. After time this leads to a bouquet of red currant, red raspberry, forest floor and sagebrush. There are flavors of red cherry, red raspberry, pie crust and pomegranate seed. Lithe minerality and balance, this is rock solid. Eyrie founder David Lett would be proud of this effort as this is one of the best for the price out there. (Best 2016-2026) - February, 2016 (OB)
