The 2013 King Estate Pinot Noir shows off some pretty, feminine characteristics. The Pinot is comprised of clones Pommard, 777, 115, and 114, and was aged 8 months in French oak (25% New, 25% 1 year, 25% 2 year, 25% neutral) prior to bottling. The wine begins with aromatics reminiscent of red cherry, dill, and red raspberry. There are flavors of red cherry, red raspberry, dill and guava puree. This excellent value Pinot captures nice balance and terroir. (Best 2016-2023) - February, 2016 (OB)
