PANTHER CREEK Pinot Noir 'Winemaker's Cuvée' 2013

Panther Creek has crafted a very nice Pinot for the price. This was sourced from the Schindler, Fir Crest, Lazy River, Jean Ray & Wildwood vineyards. It saw 28% new French oak for 11 months prior to bottling. The wine begins with aromas reminiscent of spicebox, dill, red cherry and pomegranate. Flavors of black truffle, red cherry, red raspberry, and forest floor persist. A solid effort that has yields a smooth mouthfeel on the tongue. (Best 2016-2024) - February, 2016 (OB)
