BIG TABLE FARM Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 'Earth' 2014

Head winemaker Brian Marcy, has had previous stops at Neyers Vineyards and Marcassin before starting Big Table Farm with Clare Carver. The 2014 'Earth' Pinot Noir is one for the cellar. This intense wine displays a gorgeous range of aromatics, starting with umami, black truffle oil, tar, Marcona almond, wild blackberry preserves and white pepper. On the palate the texture and weight is exceptional, leading to flavors of black cherry, wild blackberry, cola, black truffle and sandalwood resonating through the lingering finish. Head winemaker Brian Marcy has crafted a scintillating wine that will only improve with some bottle age. Only 100 cases produced of this incredible wine. (Best 2016-2030) - April, 2016 (OB)
