This exceedingly cool new release wine from Domaine Serene showcases the feminine side of Pinot Noir. This is one of the only white wines made from 100% Pinot Noir that I have come across in North America. The fruit sat 14 months in 25% new French oak prior to bottling. This impressive Pinot Noir wine has aromatics of buttered popcorn, pralines, white peach and honeydew melon. There are flavors of cantaloupe, orange zest, white peach, all leading to a creamy, round finish. The texture and mouthfeel is absolutely gorgeous from start to finish.
