FULLERTON Pinot Noir 'Five Faces' 2014

Showing a darker, more masculine fruit profile than the 2013 'FACES' bottling, obviously displaying the heat of the vintage, this Pinot Noir starts with aromatics reminiscent of black cherry, anise, cola and rhubarb. The wine becomes more expressive after a one hour decant at this time. There are ripe flavors of black cherry, cola, black raspberry, guava puree and hints of black tea. This shows nice range of flavors with a wonderful silky mouthfeel. There is a lot to like about this excellent bottling. (Best 2016-2024) - August, 2016 (OB)
