Sourced from the Quintessence Vineyard, this wine was aged for 24 months in French oak prior to bottling. The red bllend opens with aromas of black olive, black cherry, anise and sagebrush. There are rich flavors of black cherry, blackberry pie, mocha and sagebrush. This has a polished mouthfeel and a lovely texture. This wine is exceedingly good right now and beautifully showcases the terroir of Red Mountain as well as the warmth of the vintage. (Best 2017-2027) - January, 2017 (OB)
