The 2014 'Griffin's Cuvèe' Pinot Noir is sourced from a host of vineyards including Symonette, Momtazi amd Quailhurst Vineyards. This deep colored wine opens with a bouquet of black truffle, blackberry pie, cedar and suggestions of forest floor as this wine takes an earthy aromatic edge. The palate is dense and lithe, currently displaying flavors reminiscent of black cherry, black currant, cranberry, sage, and loganberry preserves. This is exceedingly difficult to resist right now but has a long life ahead of it. (Best 2017-2027) - March, 2017 (OB)
