This lovely, feminine style Pinot Noir that was aged for 15 months in neutral oak prior to bottling and opens with a lovely bouquet of red cherries, black raspberries, guava purée, Earl Grey tea and suggestions of wild mushrooms. On the palate there are ripe flavors of strawberry, pomegranate seed, Mandarin orange rind and suggestions of tobacco leaf. While this will be accessible early on, it possesses the structure and makup to cellar beautifully over the next few years. (Best 2017-2025) - March, 2017 (OB)
