ARGYLE Pinot Noir 'Nuthouse' 2015

Sourced from the Lone Star Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills, the 2015 'Nuthouse' Pinot Noir was aged for 16 months in French oak (40% new) prior to bottling. This scintillating Pinot Noir begins with a bright bouquet of black cherry compote, cigar box, black olive tapenade, wild mushroom and thyme accents all coming together to form the seductive aromatics. This displays remarkable weight and depth, with a gorgeous soft texture that glides effortlessly across the palate, lead by flavors of black cherries, black raspberry liquor and forest floor all leading to an incredibly long, seamless finish. The balance between power and elegance is highly compelling, making this one of the most impressive wines from the Willamette Valley. (Best 2017-2030) - July, 2017 (OB)
