The 2015 Zinfandel by Seghesio impresses in this warm vintage. This wine opens with aromatics of black plum, cedar, boysenberry preserves and black tea. There are dense flavors of blueberry jam, milk chocolate. and stewed strawberry. Not needing a decant, this is currently polished and smooth, with the right amount of jammy flavors. Clearly, this is another outstanding value by this great estate for Zinfandel. (Best 2017-2025) - March, 2017 (OB)
