The 2019 Ribbon Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir from Adelsheim sports a bright neon ruby core with a silvery rim in the glass. Bountiful aromas of fresh pomegranate, crushed red raspberry, lemony herbs, tilled earth, a touch of graphite powder explode from the glass alongside additional flavors of dried thyme, grated clove, and anise seed. Acidity is in balance, tannins are firm yet rounded, and medium-bodied mouthfeel. Yummy cranberry and earthy tones finish things off on the mid-palate. 371 cases were made.
