Light moving to medium neon ruby core with a slight blue rim in the glass, the 2022 Sidereal from Holocene comes from all pommard clone fruit and is fermented with 100% whole cluster. It is then aged in mostly new French oak for 14 months. Red plum, cherry liquor, umami, wet earth, crushed slate, and red licorice tones are all present in the glass and excellently integrated. Chalky tannins and crunchy red fruit finish with a touch of iron ore that sits on the back palate. A little over 200 cases produced. Highly recommended.
