|Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Wall Vineyard||93+||The 2009 Sbragia Cabernet Sauvignon Wall Vineyard is really tasty, offering a mouthful of black cherries, cassis, spices, herbs, licorice, chocolate and even some minerals in the mix. Full-bodied, powerful, concentrated and plush, but has just enough acidity to keep everything fresh and lively. The finish is long and polished pumping out more chocolate and dark mountain fruits. The 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc was racked into small French oak barrels where it aged for about two years prior to bottling. This has a bright future but give it some time. (Best 2015-2025)
|Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard||93||The 2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard is just a bit more toned down then the Rancho del Oso in the power department, but it still offers a hefty dosage of concentrated red and black fruits along with herbs, licorice, exotic spice, tobacco and dusty minerals. Layered and focused with gorgeous polished tannins, underlying acidity and a long mouthwatering finish. Composed of about 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc which spent two years in new thin-staved Chateau barrels from the Nevers forest in France. (Best 2014-2025)
|Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard||92||The 2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard brings a ton of juicy red currant, cassis, licorice, herbs, cocoa and mineral characteristics. It shows remarkable depth and concentration while getting nice lift from the underling acidity, ending with a mineral-laced finish that is long and supple with lots of ripe fruit. The wine rested a month in seasoned French oak barrels; it was then transferred to new French oak barrels, where it aged for 24 months prior to bottling. This will be approachable early on but looks to have the stuff to last in cellar as well. 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet franc. (Best 2014-2024)
|Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso Vineyard||94||The 2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho del Oso Vineyard is a stunning wine. Dense and concentrated with loads of sweet cassis, herbs, chocolate and dusty minerals. This demonstrates power and finesse, structured around big polished tannins. The finish leaves you with a supple mouthful of ripe mountain fruit. This is really good right now but should hit full stride in about three or four years. The 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and %% Cabernet Franc was racked into small French oak barrels with thin staves, where it aged for two years prior to bottling. (Best 2015-2026)
|Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Andolsen Vineyard||91||The 2009 Sbragia Family Cabernet Sauvignon Andolsen Vineyard is a well-rounded Cabernet with lots of dark currant, anise, smoke and some spices mixed in as well. Full-bodied and polished with a long juicy finish. (Drink 2012-2019)
