The 2010 Gran Reserva Rioja begins with head-turning aromatics consisting of black forest cake, wild blackberries and sandalwood. The combination of mid-palate weight and minerality really drive the wine. Dark fruits and milk chocolate flavors combine with blood orange rind and continue to thoroughly impress. There is a gorgeous seamless quality to this wine, as it resonates all the way through the deep, seductive and simply stunning finish. The 2010 Gran Reserva' is one for the cellar.
