The 2015 Château Rauzan-Ségla is a exceptional showing in this Vintage. It is composed of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc and begins with a stunning aromatic profile of ripe blackberries and dark cherries along with currants, spring flowers, exotics spices, graphite and a slight touch of cedar. On the palate this is full-bodied and remarkably well balanced, showing an outstanding combination of depth and concentration. Its beautifully textured with a lovely velvety mouthfeel which persists through the graceful finish. Overall, this is a nothing short of a total success from this Château and should offer many years of evolution ahead.
