The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolutely stunning wine from the duo of Ralph Hertelendy and Phillip Corallo-Titus. This blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec instantly begins to impress with gorgeous aromatics of ripe black cherries, cassis and dark plums woven together with violets, spices, graphite, damp earth and licorice nuances which all come together and burst from the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied with a gorgeous plush texture and beautifully polished tannins. This continues to impress with its outstanding structure and poise, combined with its excellent concentration and depth, as it simply dazzles through the long, supple finish. While this is already extremely appealing, it should also thrive in the cellar for many years to come.
