The 2014 Tinta Roriz is a fantastic showing, which begins displaying a dark, inky color, this beings with aromas of black berries and dark cherries are woven together with florals, wild herbs, cocoa powder and a touch of tobacco. On the palate this is medium to full bodied with muscular, yet velvety tannins which are nicely integrated. Ripe dark fruits, spices and floral notes continue build up to the long, expansive finish. This is already quite appealing, yet should continue to age gracefully for at least another decade.
