The 2010 Phillipe Fourrier Champagne shows great promise at this stage. On the nose this starts off with a bright bouquet of lemon zest and biscuit with suggestions of roasted hazelnut. The palate shows good weight and reveals a silky mousse. Flavors of Pink Lady apple, kumquat, and macadamia nut impress. Delicious and showing wonderful finesse, the 2010 Champagne should continue to cellar well for a decade or longer.
