The 2016 Red Blend from Duncan Savage is composed of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault. It instantly impresses with its beautiful aromatics of ripe raspberries and strawberries, which are woven together with sweet spices, cola, lavender and and a touch of earth all taking shape. On the palate this is beautifully textured, showing remarkable elegance and finesse through the supple finish. While this shows plenty of early appeal today, it ideally would benefit from a few additional years of bottle age.
