The 2015 ‘Veracity’ is composed of 47% Grenache, 34% Mourvèdre and 19% Syrah, which was sourced from Paderewski and Catapult Vineyards. It spent 18 months: 28% concrete tulip and the balance in French oak barrels and puncheons (24% new) prior too bottling. It begins with inviting aromas of cherries and ripe red berries, woven together with spices, florals, forest floor, black olives, wild herbs and a subtle hint of licorice. On the palate this is full-bodied, with a gorgeous textural richness, backed by beautiful soft, silky tannins. It continues to impress with its remarkable concentration and depth, while remain nicely balanced. Bold and beautiful, a truly remarkable wine that should age incredibly well over the next decade.
