The 2016 'Cuvée du Baron' begins with aromas of cherries and cassis, exotic spices, wild herbs which slowly develop in the glass. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous fine, yet velvety texture, with excellent depth and freshness, as flavors of cherries and spices continue to build up to the long finish. Readers should plan on allowing this at least 2-3 more year of bottle age to allow it to soften before it begins to show its best.
