The Château Sixtine is made up of mainly Roussanne, with a small percentage of Clairette from sand and clay soils. The wine itself begins with expressive aromatics of fresh sliced apples, white peach, honeysuckle, crushed almond, along with hints of fresh herbs, and spring flowers. This possesses a gorgeous medium-plus to full body with a rich texture that is beautifully balanced by fresh acidity on the finish. An outstanding white that needs a few more years of bottle age and will continue to evolve over the next decade.
