The 2016 Château Cantenac Brown is another absolutely brilliant release from José Sanfins. Composed of predominately Cabernet Sauvignon with the remainder Merlot and a dash of Cabernet Franc, this opens to fresh inviting aromas of red currants, cassis, spices, florals and licorice nuances all talking shape in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied with gorgeous velvety texture and wonderful overall balance and focus through the finish. Classy and sophisticated, this elegant Margaux should continue to evolve beautifully for years to come.
