The 2016 Château Du Bergey opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and blackberries which come together with fresh herbs, dark chocolate, licorice and hints of fresh florals. A full-bodied Fronsac, with a gorgeous plush texture and beautifully polished, well-integrated tannins making for a wonderful mouthfeel. Shows outstanding depth and opulence, with a core of juicy dark fruits that bust on to the long, supple finish. This is an absolutely fantastic showing which already has much to offer.
