The 2015 Château de Lescours is composed of 80% Merlot 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. It begins with aromas of sweet red berries and red plums, which come together with light spices, spring florals, tar and hints of wet stones that all take shape. This posseses a medium body that is supported by fine, delicate tannins and displays wonderful overall balance, with a sappy core of red fruits and minerals that persist through the finish. Made in a refined style, this is drinking beautifully now and should have at least a few more years to give.
