The 2016 Domaine du Pradas Gigondas is a fantastic showing. This beings with classic aromas of fresh raspberries, and plums along with spices, wild herbs and wet stones which all take shape. It displays wonderful elegance and poise through a medium body which is backed by incredibly silky tannins and a gorgeous seamless quality leading up to the sleek finish. While excellent now, and looks to offer an early drinking window, it would be best to allow this another of year or two in bottle to shed some heat before it shows its best.
