The 2016 'Mythicus' is a completely captivating wine that doesn’t miss a beat. Composed entirely of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Paradise Hills Vineyard this instantly begins to impress with its striking aromas of red and dark currants, fresh spring florals, spices, graphite with underling tobacco leaf nuances. On the palate this is fine tuned and impeccably precise, displaying an incredible degree of class, sophistication and striking elegance. This beautifully structured red goes on to further impress with its gorgeous polished texture and incredibly long, precise finish. While 2016 looks to be nothing short of perfection, patience will be required, as this is a exceedingly well-made Cabernet from the Blankiet’s and winemaker Graeme MacDonald that is build to age for decades.
