The 2017 'White Hill' Chardonnay is sourced from Clos Pepe (37%), La Rinconada (22%), Bentrock, (22%,) and Kessler-Haak (19%). Aromatic and expressive, this open to inviting nuances of lime curd, Meyer Lemon, apple, crushed stones and blossoms all emerging from the glass. On the palate this medium weight Chardonnay possesses a wonderful textured mouthfeel and remarkable focus. Showing excellent overall balance, with al mineral laced
core that is backed by electrifying acidity that presists through the bright finish. This is quite appealing today, but ultimately will hit its stride in with just another year or two of bottle age.
