ALHEIT VINEYARDS 'Cartology' 2017

The 2017 'Cartology' is another fantastic release from the Alheit’s. Composed of 87% Chenin Blanc and 13% Semillon sourced from dry-farmed bush vines ranging from 35-82 years old. This begins with captivating aromatics of orchard fruits, honeysuckle, and jasmine along with a wonderful saline mineral character. On the palate this possesses a gorgeous textured mouthfeel, with beautiful overall balance and gorgeous streaks of saline infused minerals leading up to the sleek finish. While this is simply fascinating today, it should also continue to drink brilliantly over the course of the next decade.
